Feedback about the first two races has been so good that we've decided to do it again.
The race will be starting this year at an earlier time of 9.30 on Sunday 14 March which is Mothering Sunday. So why not bring Mum along (or if you are Mum bring the kids along) and also enjoy the beautiful gardens together after the race. Your race entry fee will include free entry to the gardens for competitors.
There's free parking, good loos and excellent refreshments at Mr Eddy's tea room and restaurant. We regret that the course is unsuitable for wheelchair entrants. Next year we plan also to include a one mile fun run wholly within the gardens but we regret that it has not been possible to do that this year.
Entries close on 6 March or when we get to our limit of 400 runners. Last year we were sold out well before the closing date so we recommend you to enter early. As at 5 February we have 349 entries and they are coming in fast so don't delay if you want to be sure of a place. We are likely to sell out in the next week or so. Entry fees are £11 for EA affiliated club members and £2 more for those who are unattached or unaffiliated. There is no extra charge for entering on line. In fact you will save by doing that as you won't have to pay for a stamp or send an SAE. It also helps us with the admin. So we recommend you to enter on line but we do still have a paper entry form for technophobes.
We welcome entrants from members of Hardley Runners but just ask that you supply a replacement person who can help/marshal on the day as we do need to ensure the race is adequately and safely marshalled.
Here are
We have a limited number of Exbury Gardens 10k fluorescent hats for sale at just £5 each. Also flourescent technical running Tee shirts at £8 in small, medium, large and extra large. They are great if you are marshalling at any race or want to avoid being hit by cars while running on roads. Just click on the pictures to see bigger ones. Aren't they wonderful and as this is a limited edition they will probably be a better hedge against inflation than keeping the money in the bank. What is more you get a reduction to £11 for the pair if you buy both. They will be on sale at the information tent at Exbury on raceday but pre-orders are accepted, for collection on the day, as there are only a limited number available. If you'd like one please contact us.

If you like the race but aren't a member of a club please join us or your local club. Hardley Runners is a friendly club which welcomes members of all shapes and sizes from people who often come last to UK champions. To find out more just ask at the information tent at the race. There's more information on our front page including a link to the membership form. Members get free entry to the RR10 and CC6 series of races and if you pay an extra fiver to join UK Athletics you qualify for a discount on lots more race entries.
If you prefer not to join a local club you could try realbuzzrunbritain which is a virtual club. To find more about it just click on this logo
