Hi All

Club membership fees are due for the year to 31 March 2011. Please renew your membership as soon as possible so that the club can update the England Athletics affiliations.

Each 'Running' member pays an annual £10 club subscription

Club members have the choice to pay an additional £5 England Athletics registration fee. That option should be taken by anyone competing in more than a couple of 'Open' road or off-road races for which EA Affiliation provides a minimum discount of £2 per event.

EA registration is compulsory for anyone wishing to participate in County, Southern and National events under EA rules which includes Hampshire Cross Country League races.

Club membership is free for ages 15 to 20 but the £5 EA fee is payable if required by young members.

EA membership is NOT required to compete in club, RR10 or CC6 events.

Social membership is available at a fee of £4 to couples or single members who do not wish to race. Spouses or partners of Running members do NOT need to become Social members as they are always welcome at social events or in support of our running events.

One of our problems has been decyphering some entries on membership forms (particularly email addresses) so this year we have a form you can complete on your computer then print off, sign, date and send to Dave with the cheque..

Here aretwo options

a Word document which you can save to your computer and fill in at your leisure. Just open the link and go file:save as and save it to the place you keep your running stuff. Then just type in the boxes, print, sign and send. Click here for Word subscription form

a web form which you complete online then print and send to Dave. Click here for the online subscription form. Please note that the online form automatically generates an email to our webmaster, Jeremy Barber, when you hit print. You probably won't be aware of this and it is just to enable us to monitor useage. You must print out the form, sign and date it and send it by post. Maybe one day we will get fully electronic so you could pay by Paypal. If you think that is a good idea please let us know.

If any details change after you have submitted your form please forward changes to residential address, phone numbers and particularly email addresses to David McElhenny (see Contact Us tab) ASAP, preferably by email, to ensure that you receive club communications.

Should you wish to receive individual Membership Cards/s (which are necessary to obtain club discounts at local shops) you must also include a stamped addressed envelope.

We look forward to receiving your membership renewal without which you will not be entitled to any of the benefits of Club membership. Current club members are eligible to participate in 'closed' events such as Cycling Time Trial, CC6 and RR10 races. If you pay the extra for UKA you don't have to pay the extra 'unaffiliated' charge (usually £2 but sometimes more) when you enter other races.
